The fear of man brings a snare.
This is what the Bible says and if we want to avoid the snares that can trap us we need to have a hearing ear.

Pro 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
The Lord gives His wisdom that we might find favor with God and with man. He is saying, if you want life to treat you well, then this is how you are to live. He begins by telling us that His Word leads the way to a good life. "Do not forget my law" and "let your heart keep my commandments" are His specific instructions.

Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
An Evil Conscience.
An evil conscience is a conscience that continues to feel the guilt of sin. An evil conscience is a conscience still burdened. An evil conscience is a troubled conscience; an evil conscience is a conscience diseased by guilt. Guilt is heavy, and it is oppressive, and by its very nature suffocates the soul. Guilt is not outward, but inward, of the heart, and deeply affects us, even to our spirit.

Logos and Rhema
The New Testament translation of the word "word" is take from the Greek words "rhema" and "logos". Rhema refers to an utterance or a spoken word while logos refers not only to that which is spoken but also to thought, reason, or motive of the spoken word. The meaning of logos is broad and refers also to the wisdom and logic of a thing, the concept. The logos of a thing enables us to evaluate what it is, its nature or essence.

Many Temptations
1Pet 1:6-7 tells us we may be in heaviness through manifold temptations; various pressures, testings, and troubles. We are told these all work to perfect or purify our faith. All Christians eventually have their faith tested or tried. In order for our faith to be useful, like gold it must have the impurities burned off. The fire does not improve the gold, but it burns off that which is not gold. The same with our faith. All Christians have real, saving faith, but like gold, we also have impurities that contaminate our faith. It is as we live by an uncontaminated, tested faith, that we achieve genuine, lasting, heart change and fruitfulness. We are then able to walk out the victories of Christ over the world, over the flesh and over the Devil. It is the process that purifies our faith.
Life Uncovers Our Heart
We must not be surprised that life has a way of uncovering our heart. How many of us have been surprised at our turmoil and angry responses to life's problems; our response to our difficulies reveal the true condition of our heart. The Lord, in His kindness, allows us to clearly see our spiritual needs. Remember, the heart is not easy to see, it always hides and says that it is good and has no need of change!

No Man Can Serve Two Masters
Matthew 6:24-34 (KJV) 24 No man can serve two masters for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon . 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Troubled on Every Side
2Cor 4:8-10 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
Paul, as he followed Christ, describes the frailty of his humanity as evidenced by his ongoing sufferings. He life was surrounded by troubles, he said he said he was troubled on every side. He was troubled, perplexed, persecuted, and cast down, and, he bore in his body the scars and wounds from following Christ.

Forget Not His Benefits
Psa 103:2-6 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. The Lord has purchased for His People the right and privilege to receive His benefits. We are instructed specifically to not “forget” His benefits. We are reminded to take our needs to Him, that He is compassionate and merciful, and willing to bring wholeness to our lives.
